BioPerfectus Viral Nucleic Acid Isolation Kit (Silica-Based Spin Column)

The Viral Nucleic Acid Isolation Kit (Silica-Based Spin Column) from Bioperfectus is designed for the efficient purification of viral RNA and viral DNA from cell-free samples, including serum, plasma, urine, body fluids, and supernatants from virus-infected cell cultures.

During the extraction process, samples are lysed by incubation with Lysis Solution, which inactivates RNases and helps protect viral nucleic acids from degradation. The lysed sample is then transferred to a silica-based spin column, where nucleic acids bind to the membrane in the presence of Binding Buffer. Impurities are removed through multiple wash steps using Wash Buffer, while purified nucleic acids remain bound to the membrane. Finally, viral nucleic acids are eluted using Elution Buffer and are suitable for downstream molecular biology applications.
