Product Warranty Policy

Overview

At BP LabLine, we stand behind the quality of our equipment and products. Our warranty policy is designed to ensure confidence in every purchase. This policy applies to all products purchased through authorized BP LabLine channels.


Warranty Coverage

Large Equipment & Laboratory Instruments

  • Warranty Duration: 12 months from shipment or installation (whichever comes first), not exceeding 15 months from shipment.
  • Replacement Parts: Covered for 6 months from the replacement date.
  • Coverage: Defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Technical Support: Installation guidance and troubleshooting support included.
  • Special Brand Notice: Certain brands (e.g., SANS, Haier) may provide extended or customized warranty terms. Large systems such as cold storage or automation equipment may include tailored service coverage. Please contact us for details before purchase.

Small Benchtop Devices

  • Warranty Duration: 12 months from shipment or installation.
  • Replacement Parts: 6 months from replacement date.
  • Coverage: Manufacturing defects; repair or replacement supported.

Consumables & Laboratory Supplies

  • Replacement or credit provided for confirmed manufacturing defects.

Reagents, Chemicals & Biological Products

  • Replacement or credit provided for confirmed defects, shipping temperature excursions, or incorrect shipments.

Custom or Made-to-Order Products

  • Warranty coverage is limited to manufacturing defects only.
Important: Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. The warranty becomes void if equipment is installed, maintained, repaired, relocated, or modified by anyone other than BP LabLine or authorized personnel.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidents, misuse, or environmental damage
  • Use with incompatible equipment or unauthorized reagents
  • Altered or removed serial numbers or labels
  • Products not purchased through authorized BP LabLine channels
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, labor strikes, etc.)

Warranty Claim Procedure

To request warranty service:

  1. Contact Support
    • Email: support@bplabline.com and include:
    • Product name or model
    • Serial number
    • Proof of purchase (invoice or order number)
    • Description of the issue (photos are recommended)
  2. Evaluation
    Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Additional information or photos may be requested.
  3. Authorization
    If the claim is approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be issued.
  4. Return & Repair / Replacement
    Customers may be required to return the product to BP LabLine or an authorized service center. Shipping costs are typically the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
  5. Repair or Replacement
    After evaluation, BP LabLine will repair or replace the defective product or part according to the warranty terms.

Limitations of Liability

BP LabLine shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, research delays, or loss of data resulting from product defects.

This warranty does not affect statutory rights under applicable law, including consumer protection rights.


Extended Warranty and Service Contracts

Extended warranties and service contracts may be available for select equipment. For inquiries regarding extended coverage, preventive maintenance programs, or on-site service contracts, please contact: business@bplabline.com.
