SANS-AI provides video capture function, which builds a video recording method suitable for their own experimental needs through modular operation.
Start time module: customize the start time of video recording.
Duration module: set the duration of a single video acquisition.
Number of video recording: set the current number of recorded videos.
Interval time: the interval between two videos (to facilitate changing animals or cleaning the maze).
Observation area setting
Applicable for any mazes, provides a variety of area drawing tools, supports independent drawing and definition of observation and analysis areas, and can load conventional maze paradigms. The same area can be applied to all videos with one click.
Detection setting
Integrates 5 detecting algorithms and uses erosion, dilation and area screening to fine-adjust the contours of the animal: Automatic Setting, Grayscale Gradient Method, Static Background Method, Dynamic Background Method, Difference Detection Method.

Max Move DistanceBy setting a max value, fragment trajectories exceeding the value are excluded to remove false-detection interference.
Analysis
Groups test results by data selection configuration and selects technical indicators of interest via analysis parameter configuration for statistics.
Trajectory Visualization
Shows the trajectory of the test animal across the whole experiment. Line width, line shape, feature-point size, transparency, magnification and background are configurable.
Heatmap Visualization
Reflects activity distribution across the whole test stage. Provides heatmaps based on location, time, velocity and acceleration, with smoothing and point-size/zoom adjustment.
